PAZNAUN ALPINE CHEESE CULINARY ROUTE

Wonderful... can you already smell the strong alpine cheese? This culinary route takes you to the wonderfully fragrant alpine museum and impressively shows you the art of cheese making.

As the demand for locally produced quality products has drastically increased over the last few years and the dairy farmers in Paznaun were always well known for their superb quality of various cheese varieties, you can find more and more products directly from the alpine farms in the local food shops in Ischgl. The high-alpine production and knowledge of the dairy farmers transform the milk into a really special gourmet cheese, which differs greatly from others due to its qualities.

The culinary route combines a short hike to the alpine museum in Kappl and a little tasting of regionally produced products, specifically in the summer months. Simply delicious... you should try it!
